Ok, so I have complicated feelings about this book. On one hand, this book is adorable in its design. I like how each page has a quote from the books alongside one of Tenniel’s illustration. It shows the cleverness and humor of Carroll with his wordplay. It was well thought out and I simply love it.

On the other hand, this book is completely unnecessary. I actually think you enjoy wordplay much better when you read it in the story as intended, rather than as separated quotes. It gives nothing new, and is pretty much the two books wrapped in a new package. It’s cute to have, but definitely not a must have.
