This book is such a delight! It is a Korean tale inspired by Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland. It’s pretty much what the story would have been if Lewis Carroll had lived in Korea. The story is pretty much the same, but filled with Korean folklore and history. The illustrations are also very unique in sort of imitating Tenniel’s style but with Korean flare. It was very entertaining reading the story with new settings, characters, puns, and stories. I have been looking for something like this for a while, and it does not disappoint. If you love the first Alice book, you will definitely love this book too. We need more stories like this with different cultures!
